The "shoulders" are at the exact right place--though because the cover has type A drawstring closure, it should fit boards that taper at different places than mine. one didnt really want to add it, but didnt want to just throw it out, so one did.I think most people will be identical happy with this product and am SO glad single overlooked some of the negative.

However, the foam backing was dried out and falling through the surfaces grids...had to find something but nothing in the stores fit my 48x18" board. This cover, although it fits upward to 49", still adjusts snugly for my 48" ...
