Well this one is Made in the USA of much thicker plastic with sturdier construction--the other one is made in China and is quite an flimsy and has antiophthalmic factor hard time staying together when extended beyond 10". Fine product for the price.I ordered two models of Deflecto vents and both are outstanding. Heavy duty plastic, large strong magnets on the side and they work perfectly.

Since it wont ever be touched upward there, it works great! But if it was on the floor and could be bumped, single dont think it would hold upward well. act other reviewers have noted, this is type A great deflector, does the job well, strong magnets continue it in place and it has strong, sturdy construction. one couldnt tell what the difference was so one ordered both queer bird of curiosity. Overall, were rattling pleased. Its really flimsy but holds to the ceiling blowhole well.

Dont waste your $$ on the other one--stick with this one, Made in the USA and will concluding much longer for only angstrom unit buck fifty or so more.This is good for a ceiling vent but probably not for ampere floor vent. Would recommend to anyone, especially since these are impossible to find locally, just try asking for one in your local home depot/lowes, theyre never even heard of the product.
