The product itself is beautiful and works accurately. ane had a Frigidaire that had chipped on the corner, no it had to be replaced. The Stainless steel trim was type A must to prevent the edge glass from chipping or breaking. This unit also heats upward more quickly.I would have rated this five stars but the specs were incomplete on the amazon website. Our previous II overpriced cooktops were both louder and less efficient...not to mention both shattered within axerophthol couple geezerhood of use. They didnt indicate what the dimensions were under the 30" surface, so that ane had to cut some of the counter tile for the cooktop to fit. It heats upwardly very quickly. Overall, so far, Im completely satisfied with the quality, look and function of this cooktop!The Stainless edge cost very little addition to the one without and it adds axerophthol dainty look.

Although our past ii were push Centaurea cyanus top and had safety shut off, its worth the trade to clean around the knobs and not have the stove shut off mid cooking from sliding pans around. This stainless strip should resolve that. This Whirlpool is so quiet and boils much faster.
