[The Big E, a symbol of the US Navy's victory] This is a plastic model assembly kit of the US Navy aircraft carrier Enterprise, nicknamed the Big E for its long history of battle despite its medium-sized hull with a displacement of approximately 19,900 tons. Of the 22 major naval battles during the Pacific War, the ship participated in 18 sorties, including the Battle of Midway, and was damaged 15 times, but each time it recovered and continued to fight. This highly realistic model recreates the symbol of the US Navy's victory. The kit is modeled as it appeared in the later stages of the Pacific War, with reinforced anti-aircraft armament.
